Study Tips

Self Regulation: Organise a comfortable study space. Create a study routine with a clear and realistic timetable of days and times for study.

30 /60 min Study Elaboration Sprints: Focussed study asking “why” and ‘how” not just “what” for 25 or 55 mins, then take a 5 min break.

Active Recall: Retrieve what you’ve learned from memory: say it, write it down, use flashcards, practice questions and quizzes.

Spaced Practice: Boost your long term retention by reviewing material at increasing intervals (e.g. 1 day, 3 days, 7 days).
